ADMISI London Wheat Report: ICE Feed Wheat 17 August 2026

London Wheat Report

Table ICE Wheat

A steady day on London wheat today as volumes traded through the exchange failed to deliver much excitement, with 223 lots passing through the exchange. Matif wheat also looked to follow the theme of a quiet Monday, as prices stayed firmly red for European wheat.

Across the pond, CBOT wheat prices fell throughout the day as investors took profits after last week’s gains, but prolonged disruption to Russian and Ukrainian exports through the Black Sea supported the wheat market. In other areas of the ag complex, corn and soybeans edged higher on caution over U.S. yield prospects before a widely followed Midwest crop tour this week. Previous weeks of ongoing attacks on shipping by both Russia and Ukraine have curtailed shipments, including at Russia’s main grain export hub of Novorossiysk. This disruption has shifted the majority of the market’s attention from ample global supplies, a theme underscored by the USDA in a world crop report last week, towards a possible near-term shortfall in export availability.
