ADMISI London Wheat Report: ICE Feed Wheat (21 July 2026)

London Wheat Report

Futuresource - London Wheat Report

A somewhat directionless day for London wheat today as prices were undecided between bullish or uninterested. Volumes looked strong once again, as 499 lots passed through the exchange. Matif wheat spent most of the day in the red as the past few days’ price increases looked to slip a little. This comes a day after the contract hit a new contract high in the previous session.

Russia banned the anchoring of vessels in areas that are unprotected by air defences in two ports along a key trading route for grains in the Azov Sea, a government decree stated today. It has been noted, however, that attacks on grain ships in the region do not seem to be increasing after the first big attacks last week.

Today the SovEcon agriculture consultancy reported it had cut its forecast for Russia’s wheat crop this year to 88.3 mmt from 88.9 mmt. This downward revision cites weaker prospects in the south of the country and a smaller spring wheat area.
